Bohemians have signed Republic of Ireland under 21 defender Tyreke Wilson from Waterford, while midfielder Keith Ward has re-signed for 2021.

Wilson, 21, spent four years with Manchester City before joining the Blues a year ago.

A strong campaign at the RSC saw him named in the PFAI's Team of the Year.

"I'm delighted to have signed Tyreke and I'm looking forward to working with him," said Bohs boss Keith Long.

"He's a high quality footballer as can be seen by him being named in  the PFAI team of the Year."

Ward, 30, has made 148 appearances for the club, scoring 15 goals.

His first spell at Dalymount Park came under Aaron Callaghan back in 2012. Long brought him back to the club four years ago following spells with Dundalk, Sligo Rovers and Derry City.

"Wardy has been an integral part of our team since he re-signed for the club ahead of the 2017 season," added Long.

"He has been excellent for the club and I am delighted he has extended his stay with us."
