Shamrock Rovers duo Jack Byrne and Roberto Lopes have been nominated for the League of Ireland player of the year award, alongside Bohemians midfielder Danny Grant.
Ireland international Byrne won the award, which is voted for by the players, in 2019 and will be looking to make it back-to-back gongs in 2020 after helping Rovers to their first league title since 2011.
Lopes likewise was capped at international level for Cape Verde and was a rock in the heart of the Hoops defence for their unbeaten campaign.
Grant has been the standout player for Bohemians who pushed Rovers for a large part of the season in the race for the title. The winger has also been nominated for the young player of the year award alongside team-mate Dawson Devoy.
Shamrock Rovers' Bradon Kavanagh has also been nominated in the young player category; the goal-scoring midfielder spent most of the season lining out for the Hoops second team, playing in the First Division.
