Callum O'Dowda's injury makes it 14 players unavailable for Ireland

Callum O'Dowda has been ruled out of the Republic of Ireland squad for tonight’s Nations League match with Bulgaria.

The winger had been a doubt for the game after it emerged he had a dead leg.

UEFA published the matchday squad of 22 this afternoon and O’Dowda is one player omitted from the group of 23.

It means the call-ups this week of Shamrock Rovers duo Graham Burke and Aaron McEneff, Troy Parrott and Jack Taylor all make the squad.

A total of 14 players are now missing from the original squad named by Kenny.

The match kicks-off at 7.45pm at the Aviva Stadium.
