Former Republic of Ireland international Darren Potter has called time on his 17-year playing career.
Potter was a product of the Liverpool academy and made 17 senior appearances for the Reds, playing twice in their Champions League-winning campaign in 2005.
The 35-year-old made over 500 career appearances for Southampton, Sheffield Wednesday, Wolves, MK Dons, Rotherham and Tranmere.
Over half of those appearances came with Milton Keynes, who he helped win automatic promotion to the Championship in 2015.
Steve Staunton gave Potter his Ireland senior debut in a friendly against Ecuador in 2007, with the last of his five caps coming against Brazil at Croke Park the following year.
Potter quickly moves into coaching and has taken a part-time role with Port Vale academy.
