Shelbourne went four points clear at the top of the Women's National League table after a 5-0 destruction of Galway WFC at Tolka Park this afternoon.
The result edges us ever closer to a potentially league title deciding showdown with defending champions Peamount United on 21 October.
While Shels lead is four points, Peamount boast two games in hand, their attention having switched to European matters against Glasgow City mid-week and Women's FAI Cup.
They almost conceded early against the westerners with Racheal Kelly saving a penalty in the opening minutes.
Three minutes later, Jess Gargan gave the hosts the lead. Isibeal Atkinson doubled that lead in the 31st minute while Ciara Grant made it 3-0 before half-time, seizing on a penalty rebound.
They added two more goals after the break, Jessica Ziu and then Atkinson with her second notching goals in the final 10 minutes.
