The Republic of Ireland's Wembley friendly against England will be broadcast live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player this Thursday.

Stephen Kenny will take his side to the home of English football looking for his first win as manager, in preparation for Nations League games away to Wales and at home to Bulgaria.

It will be Ireland's first clash with the Three Lions at Wembley since 2013, when Shane Long and Frank Lampard scored in a 1-1 draw, and their first meeting since 2015 - a 0-0 draw at the Aviva.

This will also be the first Ireland-England game to be broadcast on RTÉ television since the infamous 1995 game at Lansdowne Road.

Darragh Maloney will be joined in studio by Richie Sadlier, with George Hamilton on commentary. The game kicks-off at 8.00pm with coverage beginning on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player at 7.30pm on Thursday, 12 November.

There will be no fans in attendance, due to continuing coronavirus restrictions, so tune in this Thursday for free-to-air coverage of the glamour friendly against Gareth Southgate's World Cup semi-finalists.
