Fran Rockett has been confirmed as the manager of Waterford FC for the remainder of the 2020 SSE Airtricity League season.
The club said in a statement that he will be assisted by David Breen, a former player and coach, who returns after a spell with Wexford FC.
Rockett had been the first team coach at the RSC under both of his predecessors, John Sheridan and Alan Reynolds. The former left to take over at Sky Bet League One side Wigan Athletic earlier this month, with Rockett looking after team on an interim basis thereafter.
The Blues currently sit fourth in the Premier Division table, seven points behind Bohemians in second place, and eight points clear of the relegation places.
They're due to welcome Sligo Rovers to the south-east in their next game on Saturday.
