Shamrock Rovers will look to restore an eight-point lead at the top of the table when they take on Waterford at Tallaght Stadium this evening.
The Hoops bowed out of Europe during the week as they went down 2-0 to AC Milan in the Europa League and now turn all their attention to securing their first league title in nine years.
Waterford have shown good form in recent weeks and should they cause a shock in Tallaght they would move clear of Dundalk into third place in the table.
Team News
Shamrock Rovers: Liam Scales returns to the squad having missed the European match through suspension, while Sean Kavanagh will also be included having returned midweek following a long-term knee injury. Daniel Lafferty is injured.
Waterford: Sam Bone remains out injured for the Blues, the former Hoop is recovering from a hamstring strain.

Stephen Bradley (Shamrock Rovers head coach): "It's back to what will be a tough game for us, Waterford have been in good form and it’s back to business. We have to make sure we’re focused and ready to for a tough game. I think we are ready, it’s another game for us to get points on the board.
"They’ve been doing well, they have some good players and they’ve been scoring goals. They have some good attacking threats so it’s going to be a good game on Monday."
Fran Rockett (Waterford first-team coach): "The lads know how big a fixture this is. We've worked hard in training and prepared ourselves for a tough, physical game, having watched Rovers in action against AC Milan, they did very well so we know what to expect tonight.
