There'll be some star dust sprinkled on Tallaght Stadium when AC Milan roll into town, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic winning the race to be fit for the Europa League second qualifying round tie in Dublin on Thursday (live on RTÉ).
The Swede looked like he'd miss out due to a leg injury.
The 38-year-old has missed a considerable chunk of the Serie A giants' pre-season, but has returned to training this week and is in the frame to feature against Shamrock Rovers.
"Ibrahimovic will travel to Ireland, and if Ibrahimovic is travelling normally it's because he wants to play," Italy-based journalist Tancredi Palmeri of beIN Sports told the RTÉ Soccer Podcast.
The visitors may also start Sandro Tonali, the hugely promising midfielder who has arrived from Brescia on a season-long loan for a fee of €10m.
Tonali lined out at Tallaght Stadium 11 months ago in the goalless draw between the Republic of Ireland and Italy Under-21s.
