Sligo Rovers will look to bounce back from their disappointing defeat at Turner's Cross as they welcome Waterford to The Showgrounds, kick-off 5.45pm.
The Bit O'Red will be hoping to use their game in hand to work their way out of the relegation zone as they take on John Sheridan's side. A victory for the home team could see Liam Buckley's side move up to seventh position in the table.
Waterford boss Sheridan will be hoping that all the talk remains on the pitch as his side look to build on their impress return to play.
The former Ireland midfielder's argument with Dundalk manager Vinny Perth attracted a lot of attention following the 2-2 draw at Oriel Park on Friday, and now Waterford could join the Lilywhites in third place with a win in the north-west.
The match will be streamed live on WATCHLOI and in front of a small number of Rovers fans who were successful in the season ticket ballot.
Sligo Rovers: Will Seymore, Garry Buckley, Johnny Dunleavy and John Mahon are unavailable due to injury. Kyle Callan-McFadden is an injury doubt, while Alex Cooper is available.
Waterford: Ali Coote is suspended after seeing red in Oriel Park. Keeper Brian Murphy will undergo a late fitness test, while Shane Griffin and Dean Walsh return to the squad.
Liam Buckley (Sligo Rovers): "We have to be better in possession and get our general play better. We’ve regrouped over the last couple of days. We’ve got to be a bit more creative in our play and get our focus right. We’re looking for the performance and result."
John Sheridan (Waterford): "I’m never satisfied with accepting draws but I think, looking back (on the Dundalk game), it was a point well earned. The lads are gelling well together now although the fixture congestion is beginning to take its toll. I watched Sligo on Watch LOI against Cork and Shelbourne. They looked particularly good against Shelbourne so I’m anticipating a tough game there."
