Shamrock Rovers begin their defence of the FAI Cup with a home clash against Cork City, and the game will be shown live on WatchLOI.

The Hoops encounter with Neale Fenn's side is scheduled to take place on Monday, 31 August with a 5:45pm kick-off time, and is one of five second round games being screened live on the new League of Ireland platform.

Eight second round matches will take place from 28-31 August with the clash between Rovers and Cork the only all-Premier Division encounter.

The other four matches to be shown live include Galway versus Shelbourne (28 Aug), Drogheda's home tie against Derry (29 Aug), the meeting of Cobh and Dundalk (30 Aug), and the Dublin derby between Bohemians and Cabinteely (31 Aug).
