Shamrock Rovers will begin their defence of the FAI Cup with a home clash against Cork City.

The second-round draw for the FAI Cup took place this afternoon in Abbotstown.

Ireland manager Stephen Kenny was on hand to conduct the draw for the last 16, which saw the three teams who came through their first-round matches go into the hat alongside the 13 sides who received byes.

The clash between Rovers and Cork is the only all-Premier Division clash in the second round.

League champions and last year's beaten finalists Dundalk will face a trip to County Cork to face Cobh Ramblers, while First Division leaders Cabinteely will take on Bohemians in a Dublin derby.

Four other Premier Division sides face tricky trips to First Division sides.

Sligo Rovers will travel to UCD, Finn Harps are on the road to Wicklow to play Bray Wanderers, Derry City will meet Drogheda United and Shelbourne will head west to clash with Galway United.

The one all-First Division tie is Athlone Town v Wexford.
