The draw for the second round of the FAI Cup will take place on Wednesday at noon, with 13 clubs joining the three winners from round one in the hat.

Finn Harps v St Pat's Athletic, Cork City v Longford Town and Dundalk v Waterford will be battling it out over the next two evenings in their quest to advance.

Wednesday's draw will be live on the FAI Facebook page, with Republic of Ireland senior manager Stephen Kenny conducting proceedings. 

The second round matches will take place over the weekend of 28-30 August and screened live on WATCHLOI.

In SSE Airtricity League Premier Division news, the fixture between Sligo Rovers and Waterford has been rearranged for Tuesday, 18 August at The Showgrounds, 5.45pm. The game will also be streamed live on WATCHLOI

After one of the Waterford players displayed Covid-19-type symptoms, the tie, scheduled for 4 August, was postponed.

It is the third attempt to play the game after the original meeting was cancelled due to bad weather.
