Republic of Ireland Under-21 goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu has been added to the Manchester City squad for the remainder of the Champions League.
Bazunu replaces Leroy Sane after his move to Bayern Munich.
Scott Carson left City at the end of his contract in July, meaning the former Shamrock Rovers man is now third choice at the Etihad Stadium.
City will play Real Madrid in their last 16 second leg on Friday, holding a 2-1 advantage from the first game.
Bazunu has been training with the first team for a number of weeks, including before Carson departed.
He has played for their Under-23 side and throughout the UEFA Youth League.
Ederson and Claudio Bravo remain the number one and two at the Premier League outfit.
Bazunu rose to prominence as a 16-year-old in the first team of the Dublin side, which led to the move to England.
