Finn Harps have signed Stephen Folan for the remainder of the 2020 season, while Cork City have added strikers Kit Elliott and Scott Fenwick to their squad.
The SSE Airtricity League season resumes today, before Harps return to action on Saturday at Shamrock Rovers and Cork City host Bohemians on Sunday.
Folan joins Finn Harps after returning to Ireland earlier this summer following a spell at South Melbourne in Australia and will make his debut against Shamrock Rovers, subject to international clearance.
"We are very happy to have Stephen with us for the rest of the season," the Donegal club's manager Ollie Horgan said.
"We have a massive battle on our hands and Stephen brings a lot of experience in the league. There's a bit of a sprint onto the finish now and we'll need all the bodies we can gather to be able to compete."
Folan added: "I am delighted to join the club and am looking forward to the battle ahead. I can't wait to get going and hopefully making a contribution to a successful campaign."
Meanwhile, Elliott and Fenwick have signed for Cork, with both deals subject to international clearance.
Elliott joins on loan from English Championship side Huddersfield, with Fenwick arriving after a recent spell at Blyth Spartans in the National League.

Because of the quarantine measures in place due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, neither player will be available for the club's first fixtures back against Bohemians and Waterford.
"They're both out and out number nines, Kit’s strength is his hold-up play. He’ll bring that aspect to our front line, which we probably don’t have at the moment, but he’s still young and needs to learn the game," said Cork City manager Neale Fenn.
"Scott is also a number nine, he’s a hardworking player with a good eye for goal and his goalscoring record in the lower leagues in England is second to none."
The club have also confirmed the departure of Darragh Crowley on loan to Cobh Ramblers for the remainder of the season.
