The 2020-21 season in Germany will begin in early September, the German Football Association (DFB) has announced.
The first round of the DFB-Pokal, the German Cup, will launch the new campaign over the weekend of 11-14 September, with the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 commencing a week later on September 18.
The final round of league fixtures has been scheduled for the weekend of May 22-23 and the domestic season will end on 31 May after the promotion/relegation play-offs - 11 days before the opening game at Euro 2020.
The DFB said there will be a shortened winter break, with the last fixtures in 2020 taking place from 18-21 December and resuming on the first weekend in January.
