Former Sligo Rovers and Cork City winger Kieran Sadlier is set to leave Doncaster Rovers after failing to reach an agreement on a contract extension.

The 25-year-old joined the League One outfit in December 2018 from the Leesiders and the midfielder was Doncaster's top scorer during this campaign before the Covid-19 pandemic halted the season in March.

In June, League One clubs voted to end the campaign, with the final table calculated on an unweighted points-per-game basis.

The framework retained promotion, relegation and the traditional four-team play-offs. Doncaster finished ninth once the calculations were made.

Meanwhile, former Finn Harps defender Shane Blaney is also moving on. The Letterkenny 21-year-old, who moved across the water in January 2018, had been playing with with the club's Under-23s.
