Ireland's quest to qualify for their first ever Under-21 European Championships resumes in October with a top of the table clash with group favourites Italy.
The now Jim Crawford-managed side currently top Group 1, having played two games more than the Azzurri, and what looks set to be the group decider has now been scheduled for 13 October, in Italy.
Ireland have three qualification games remaining and currently sit three points clear of the Italians, while the two sides played out a scoreless draw in Tallaght last October.
Crawford's side will face Slovenia in an international friendly in September before their three remaining Group 1 fixtures, which will be completed in November as they welcome Iceland to Dublin (12 November) before ending their campaign in Luxembourg five days later.
Kick-off times and locations will be confirmed at a later date.
