Spot quiz: How many people in Ireland had heard of an island called Saipan before May 2002 dawned? Very few would be the answer.
But fast-forward through the past 18 years and you will find hardly anyone on this island who hasn't heard of or uttered the name of that geographic point in the western Pacific.
Needless to say, it's become a simple byword for the the events surrounding Roy Keane, Mick McCarthy and the Irish team in that locale ahead of the 2002 World Cup.
