Shane Barnes scored a stoppage-time winner as Cabinteely maintained their 100% per cent start to the season with a 1-0 victory over Shamrock Rovers II.

Cabinteely were reduced to 10 men for the final half-hour after Daniel Blackbyrne was sent off but snatched a dramatic late win, Barnes heading in from close range to keep them top of the SSE Airtricity League First Division table.

Drogheda sit three points behind Cabinteely after crushing UCD 5-1. Mark Doyle, Jordan Adeyemo, Chris Lyons and Jack Tuite all found the net during a one-sided first half.

Liam Kerrigan pulled a goal back for UCD on 65 minutes but Drogheda had the final say, Sean Brennan hitting their fifth with 16 minutes remaining.

Wexford and Galway are still chasing their first wins of the season after a goalless draw at Ferrycarrig Park.

Shane Duggan was red-carded for Galway five minutes from time.
