Waterford have added strength to their attacking unit with the signing of former Doncaster Rovers frontman Will Longbottom.
The 21-year-old was released from the English League One side in January and had been on trial at Shamrock Rovers ahead of signing for the south coast club.
Alan Reynolds' side opened their campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 away victory at St Patrick's Athletic on Friday night and Longbottom will now be in the frame to make his debut as they begin their home campaign against Bohemians on Friday night at the RSC.
Local footballer Jack Larkin has also been signed for the 2020 season by the Blues, while new arrival Brian Murphy will captain the side throughout the campaign.
