Gerry McAnaney is the new president of the Football Association of Ireland.
He defeated Sligo Rovers chairman Martin Heraghty by 88 votes to 40 at Saturday's EGM.
Mr McAnaney replaces Donal Conway, the outgoing president who indicated that he would be stepping down when the FAI accounts for 2018 and the restated accounts for 2016 and 2017 were published in December.

Mr McAnaney represents 'Football for All’ on the FAI National Council having previously represented the Defence Forces.
He was formerly chairperson of the Defence Forces Football Association and served as a member of the FAI board of management and the FAI disciplinary panel.
During his time in the Defence Forces he served as regional director of Military Police responsible for compliance with legal requirements and conduct of all investigations.
