Goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is one of three Liverpool youngsters who will fly out to Qatar today to join the rest of the squad at the Club World Cup.
Kelleher was part of a young and inexperienced team that lost 5-0 to Aston Villa in last night's Carabao Cup quarter-final, with the main squad already in Qatar.
With only two fit first-team centre-backs in Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez, Ki-Jana Hoever, who came off with cramp against Villa but has been passed fit, and Van Den Berg will provide some cover for Jurgen Klopp if necessary.
Harvey Elliott, who impressed in the cup defeat at Villa as part of the youngest team in the club's history, will not be making the trip.
