Seattle Sounders won their second MLS Cup in four seasons with a 3-1 victory over Toronto FC.

The Sounders repeated their 2016 final success over Toronto after a goalless first half in front of nearly 70,000 fans at CenturyLink Field.

Toronto claimed a foul in the build-up to Seattle's 58th-minute opener, but play was waved on and Justin Morrow diverted Kelvin Leerdam's cross into his own net.

Seattle doubled their lead 15 minutes from time when Nicolas Lodeiro laid the ball off to Victor Rodriguez and the Spaniard smashed home.

Raul Ruidiaz robbed Toronto defender Chris Mavinga in the final seconds to add a third.

Substitute Jozy Altidore headed a consolation for the Canadian outfit with the final contribution of the game.
