The injury concern over Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Darren Randolph has intensified with Middlesborough manager Jonathan Woodgate saying he is a doubt for the Euro 2020 qualifier with Denmark.
Randolph missed Boro's match with Huddersfield on Wednesday because of a thigh problem.
"Darren's got a thigh strain, I'm not sure how long he'll be out for," Woodgate told Teeside Live .
"He might not make the (next) Ireland game, he might not make next week.
"He was sore coming back from international duty. He played against West Brom and he was sore with it so he's had it for a while."
The news is a major worry for Mick McCarthy. Mark Travers and Kieran O'Hara have not played a competitive game for Ireland but could be drafted in to start.
Ireland need to beat Denmark to progress to the Euros.
