Peamount Utd 2-0 Shelbourne FC
This year's So Hotels FAI Women's Cup final will be a repeat of last season's meeting between Peamount and Wexford Youths, with the Dublin side booking their place courtesy of a 2-0 win over Shelbourne at PRL Park.
Goals from Aine O'Gorman and Megan Smyth-Lynch earned the home side another shot at Cup holders Wexford, following last year's 1-0 loss.
Having seen their league triumph at best delayed by a 2-1 defeat to Shelbourne on Saturday at the same venue, Peamount were keen to exact revenge on their Dublin rivals.
Naima Chemeau was a late replacement for the injured Louise Masterson and she was a thorn in the visitors' side from the start, rattling the crossbar with a thunderous effort in the 13th minute.
Chemeau, O'Gorman and Eleanor Ryan Doyle had further chance in the first half, but the sides went in 0-0 at the break.
The home side took the lead eight minutes after the restart.
Chemeau's shot was saved by Rachel Kelly in the Shels goal, but former Ireland international O'Gorman was on hand to slot home the rebound.
Megan Smyth-Lynch added a second in the 81st minute to all but secure the Peas' place in next month's showpiece decider at Aviva Stadium.
