Republic of Ireland Under-21 manager Stephen Kenny has drafted Aaron Drinan into his squad for Tuesday's Euro 2021 qualification game with Iceland.

Kenny travels to Reykjavik without the services of Troy Parrott, who was shown a harsh red-card in Thursday's 0-0 draw with Italy at Tallaght Stadium and Jonathan Afolabi, who is ruled out through injury.

Drinan, who is currently at loan on loan with Gais in Sweden from Ipswich, will link up with the squad before they travel out to Iceland.

Ireland go into that game with their unbeaten record in Group A still intact, following an impressive display against a star-studded Italian side in Tallaght.
