The Republic of Ireland U21 international goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher makes his senior competitive debut for Liverpool this evening.

The 20-year-old has been named in the Liverpool side to take on MK Dons in their Carabao Cup third round clash at Stadium MK.

Kelleher has progressed through the youth ranks at Liverpool since joining the club from Cork side Ringmahon Rangers in 2015.

Harvey Elliott and Rhian Brewster are also included in a Liverpool side that has a sprinkling of youth and experience with Naby Keita returning from injury to partner James Milner in midfield.

Kelleher, who has been on the bench for much of the season for Liverpool, follows in the footsteps of international underage team-mate Troy Parrott who made his competitive debut for Tottenham last night.
