Peamount United cruised to an incredible 12-2 win against Kilkenny United to remain top of the Women's National League on Sunday.
A four -goal haul from from Eleanor Ryan Doyle, plus hat-tricks from Aine O'Gorman and Megan Smyth Lynch, did most of the damage, with Lucy McCartan and Karen Duggan getting in on the act too.
Kilkenny actually took the the lead after four minutes through Lia Reilly but Peamount completely took over thereafter.
They were 6-1 up at the break and the goals kept coming. Abbie Brophy got one more back for Kilkenny on a day to forget.
Peamount are eight points ahead of Shelbourne - who have a game in hand - at the the summit.
Peamount's winning margin was actually matched by Wexford Youths at Limerick. They won 11-1, with Rihanna Jarrett scoring five.
Blessing Kingsley got two while Aisling Frawley, Fiona Ryan and Edel Kennedy completed the rout.
