Celtic have been fined €12,500 by UEFA for their fans' behaviour during the Europa League play-off win against AIK in Sweden.

Travelling Hoops supporters were found guilty of setting off fireworks and throwing objects during the 4-1 victory for the visitors  in August which took them through to the group stages with a 6-1 aggregate scoreline.

The decision was announced by UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body on Friday.

The home club were fined €8,000 for blocked stairways during the game.

Celtic began their Europa League campaign with a 1-1 draw against Rennes in France on Thursday night.
