Waterford have been handed a favourable draw in the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup fourth round after being paired with Scottish League 2 side Stenhousemuir.

The Warriors are third from bottom in the fourth tier of Scottish football but shocked Welsh outfit TNS on penalties in the previous round.

An experimental Waterford side beat Hearts Under-21s 3-1 last Friday.

Alan Reynolds’ men will make the trip to Ochilview Park for the last 16-clash on the weekend of 12/13 October.

It’s likely to mean their league fixture with Sligo Rovers on Friday 11 October will be rescheduled.
