Republic of Ireland striker Troy Parrott has been named on Tottenham's 25-man Champions League squad.

Parrott, who is currently preparing for Friday's Euro U-21 qualifier against Armenia in Tallaght, is one of two forwards alongside Harry Kane in the Spurs squad that will begin their campaign away to Olympiacos on 18 September.

The North London club went all the way to the Champions League final last season where they lost 2-0 to Liverpool.

Seventeen-year-old Parrott has yet to make his full Tottenham debut, though he did feature in pre-season games and has been on the scoresheet for the club's U23 side in the past few weeks.

He had been initially named in Mick McCarthy's senior squad for the Euro 2020 qualifier against Switzerland, but dropped down to Stephen Kenny's U21 setup as they look for a second win in their qualifying campaign.
