The new manager of the Republic of Ireland women's team will be named tomorrow afternoon.
Tom O'Connor took the reins on an interim basis after Colin Bell departed back in June to take up a role with Huddersfield Town.
O'Connor was in the dugout on Tuesday night as Ireland defeated Montenegro 2-0 in their opening UEFA Women's EURO 2021 Group I qualifier.
When asked about the prospect of him taking the job full-time, O'Connor replied: "It is in the hands of my employers.
"I sat an interview, but it is a very, very important position and I know the association are leaving no stone unturned to make sure they get the right candidate."
The FAI will name Bell's permanent successor at a press conference in Abbotstown at 3.30pm on Wednesday afternoon.
