Manchester United have announced that Matteo Darmian has joined Parma on a permanent deal.
The Serie A club have paid an undisclosed fee for Darmian, who heads to Italy on a four-year contract.
"Manchester United can confirm that defender Matteo Darmian has signed for Italian side Parma," the Premier League club said on Twitter.
Darmian arrived from Torino in 2015 for a reported £12.9million and went on to make 92 appearances for the Red Devils.
The 29-year-old follows Chris Smalling, Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku in leaving United for an Italian club during the current trransfer window.
