Crumlin United must beat Bohemians if they are to keep the fairytale alive in this year's FAI Cup

Non-league side Crumlin United will take on Bohemians for a place in the semi-finals of this year's FAI Cup.

The Dublin outfit will have home advantage against the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division side, after getting past fellow non-leaguers Lucan United on Sunday.

Bohemians made it through to the quarter-finals on Friday night, beating Longford Town on penalties at Dalymount Park.

Reigning champions Dundalk will travel to Waterford for their quarter-final clash, while Shamrock Rovers must win away at Galway United if they are to secure a place in the final four of this year's competition.

Sligo Rovers have been handed a home tie against UCD after both sides got through at the weekend, beating Limerick and St Patrick's Athletic respectively.

The four quarter-final ties are scheduled to be played on the weekend of 6-8 September, however, both Bohemians and Waterford are already rostered to play in the Scotland-based Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Cup third round on the same weekend as the Gypsies face Airdrie, while Waterford take on Hearts Colts.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21s are also due to play that weekend so more ties could be affected.

FAI Cup quarter-final draw:

Galway United v Shamrock Rovers

Sligo Rovers v UCD
