A Megan Smyth Lynch hat-trick helped Peamount United on their way to a comprehensive 7-0 victory over Limerick in the So Hotels Women's National League on Sunday.

The Munster women were three up at the break, with former Republic of Ireland international Áine O'Gorman adding to a Smyth Lynch brace.

The Dubliner secured the match ball inside eight minutes of the resumption, before Louise Masterson notched two of her own.

Elsewhere, Kilkenny United and Cork City drew 1-1 at Thomastown. Both of the goals came from the penalty spot, with Éabha O'Mahony putting the visitors ahead, before Nicole Plunkett equalised.
