The Republic of Ireland are through to the semi-finals of the World University Games in Napoli after they defeated China 4-1 on penalties.
The game was scoreless after normal time despite Dave Connell's side dominating possession.
Amanda McQuillan, Megan Smyth-Lynch, Lynn Craven and Eleanor Ryan-Doyle were successful from the spot.
