Plenty more women's football on RTÉ after World Cup

With defending champions USA about to take on Netherlands in the FIFA Women's World Cup 2019 final in Lyon (3.30pm, RTÉ2 & RTÉ Player), RTÉ Sport has announced coverage details of the Republic of Ireland’s upcoming UEFA Women's European Championship 2021 home qualifiers.

Ireland will face Montenegro at Tallaght Stadium on Tuesday, 3 September and Ukraine on Tuesday, 8 October, with both games live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.

RTÉ will also have live coverage of the semi-finals and finals of the UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship (RTÉ Player) and the Republic of Ireland’s men’s UEFA U19 Championship group games against Norway (Monday, 15 July), France (Thursday, 18 July) and Czech Republic (Sunday, 21 July) on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.

RTÉ2 & RTÉ Player will continue live coverage the Republic of Ireland’s Men’s UEFA U19 Championships campaign should they qualify for the knockout stages with the final on RTÉ Player* on Sunday 28 July.

RTÉ will also have live coverage of Dundalk v Riga FC in the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round first leg (Wednesday, 10 July) plus the Republic of Ireland’s European Qualifiers for Euro 2020 against Switzerland (Thursday, 5 September), Georgia (Saturday, 12 October), Switzerland (Tuesday, 15 October) and Denmark (Monday, 18 November).

All of this alongside the climax of the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division title race, FAI Cup Finals day from the Aviva Stadium plus the return of the UEFA Champions League.
