Republic of Ireland internationals Louise Quinn and Katie McCabe took centre stage as Arsenal lifted the Super League trophy.
In their last game of the season they ended Manchester City's unbeaten domestic run with a 1-0 victory thanks to a late goal from Emma Mitchell.
Quinn and McCabe both started for Arsenal in the final game of the season, they won the League with a victory over Brighton and Hove Albion on 28 April.
Mitchell's winner came with just two minutes left to play, a cracking shot from 25 yards out.
It was a final appearance for Dominique Bloodworth Sari van Veenendaal who are both leaving the club.
Elsewhere Megan Connolly was on the score sheet for Brighton and Hove Albion in their 4-0 win over defeated FA Cup finalists West Ham United.
In the last Merseyside derby of the season Liverpool sealed a 3-1 win over Everton thanks to goals from Courtney Sweetman-Kirk, Niamh Charles and Amy Rodgers. Abbey-Leigh Stringer pulled one back pulled one back for Everton.
Chelsea secured third spot in the table with a 3-2 win over Reading while two goals from Charlie Wellings earned Birmingham a 2-0 win over Yeovil.
