Republic of Ireland have been drawn with Belgium, Czech Republic and Greece in the U17 European Championships at this evening's draw in the Aviva Stadium.

Ireland, who qualified automatically as hosts, will re-acquaint themselves with the Belgians at this age grade having been drawn with them in the group phase in last year's tournament in England.

Belgium won that encounter 2-0 but Ireland still progressed to the quarter-final stage following wins over Bosnia and Denmark. They were eliminated on penalties in controversial circumstances by eventual winners Netherlands.

Colin O'Brien will play two of their group games in Tallaght Stadium and one of them in Waterford's RSC.

Tallaght Stadium, which now has a capacity of 8,000 following the opening of a new third stand, will be host the final on Sunday, 19 May.
