Spurs' striker Troy Parrott has been ruled out of the Republic of Ireland's Under-21 European Championships qualifier against Luxembourg through injury.
The 17-year-old, who was named Republic of Ireland U16 Player of the Year at the Three FAI International Awards, was called up to the Ireland Under-21 squad during the week, but is now unavailable for Sunday's game at Tallaght Stadium.
Parrott is eligible for the Under-17 Championships in May, but he managed to earn a spot in Stephen Kenny's squad after progressing well through the ranks at White Hart Lane.
The rest of the Ireland Under-21 squad reported for duty today as they prepare to take on Luxembourg on Sunday at 5pm.
