Republic of Ireland boss Mick McCarthy will meet Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford in the next few weeks to discuss the 25-year-old's international future.
Bamford was capped once for Ireland at Under-18 level before switching to England and earning caps up to the Under-21 grade.
He qualifies for Ireland through his grandmother, and would bolster McCarthy's attacking options for the Euro 2020 qualifying campaign, though it would take a few months for his paperwork to be processed.
Bamford scored twice in Leeds' 4-0 Championship win against West Brom on Friday night.
"We've exchanged text messages and Patrick is keen to meet up in the coming weeks so it is just a matter of him finding a date that works," McCarthy told the FAI website. "I'll happily meet him whenever he can do it."
Towering Ipswich forward Will Keane will also come on board after meeting with McCarthy two weeks ago. He's publicly stated his intention to declare for the country of his father's birth.
Midfielder Danny Crowley is another one ready to come into the Irish set-up.
The talented 21-year-old helped Willem II into the KNVB Cup final thanks to victory over AZ Alkmaar and celebrated with a tricolour draped over his shoulders.
Crowley has also represented both England and Ireland at underage level.
"Noel King brought him to my attention when I got the job and will have a look at Danny with Willem ll before I go to see him for myself when he plays against Ajax in the Dutch Cup final on 5 May," McCarthy added.
