The Irn-Bru Scottish Challenge Cup quarter-final between Bohemians and East Fife has been called off just five minutes before kick-off.

The Gypsies welcomed the Scottish League One side to Dalymount Park for the last-eight clash on Saturday afternoon.

Keith Long's side earned their place in the quarters with a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory against English National League outfit Sutton United back in October.

The Scots brought good support to Dublin but they were left disappointed as, following an inspection from the match officials, the pitch was deemed unplayable due to frozen areas of the playing surface.

Bohs later said a new date for the game will be announced in due course.
