Republic of Ireland women's captain Katie McCabe was on a target for Arsenal this weekend as the Women's Super League (WSL) title hopefuls secured a comfortable win over Reading.
McCabe scored in the fourth minute of injury-time to complete a 3-0 win, curling home an impressive long-range shot into the top corner of the net.
The other goals came from Vivianne Miedema and a Kim Little penalty as Arsenal sit just one point behind league leaders Man City to keep the pressure on their title rivals.
Miedema set a new WSL goalscoring record with what was her 16th goal of the season, the most than other player in a single campaign.
Manchester City forward Nikita Parris scored twice as her side beat Brighton 3-0 to maintain their slender advantage at the top of the WSL.
The 24-year-old struck either side of Gemma Bonner's goal in the first half to stay a point ahead of Arsenal, who have played one match fewer.
Third-placed Chelsea went down to an added-time 3-2 defeat at home to Birmingham.
England striker Ellen White volleyed home in the third additional minute after the visitors bounced back from Erin Cuthbert's opener with goals from Emma Follis and Lucy Quinn.
Cuthbert thought she had salvaged a point with an 83rd-minute free-kick only for White to strike at the death.
Bottom side Yeovil slipped to their 12th defeat of the season despite Ann-Marie Heatherson giving them an early second-half lead as the hosts hit back through Lucy Graham and Rosella Ayane.
