Ireland international Stephanie Roche is set to play in the Women's Seria A in Italy as the centre-forward has signed for Florentia.
Former Houston Dash and Sunderland striker, Roche, will links up with Stefano Carobbi's side in Florence, who are currently playing their first season in the top flight.
Roche, who has returned to full fitness after recovering from a broken leg, looks set to make her Florentia debut in a derby clash with city rivals Fiorentina on 2 December.
The Ireland striker has been training with the Italian club for the last few months.
"I am very happy to have arrived at the Florentia" said Roche.
"The Italian Serie A is a championship that is becoming more competitive and I have chosen to come here to continue playing at high levels.
"Florentia are a great team. I'm here to score because that's my role, but I'm at the disposal of the coach and the team.
"I've been out for a year and I cannot wait to get back on the pitch, I'm hungry for goals and I hope to be ready for the match against Fiorentina"
"Stephanie's physicality and experience will be a very important element for our attack, also giving a further international touch to our team," said club president Tommaso Becagli.
