Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos admitted he was in the wrong for his petulant reaction to a training-ground incident with Sergio Reguilon.
Youngster Reguilon collided with Ramos in a training game as Madrid warmed up for their Champions League clash with Viktoria Plzen and the Spain defender reacted badly, blasting a ball at his team-mate from close distance.
As the game broke up and the players walked away, Ramos had another bite of the cherry, again kicking a ball at the 21-year-old.
It is more unwanted headlines for Madrid, whose boss Julen Lopetegui is under severe pressure following a poor run of form.
Ramos took to Twitter to say he made a mistake and wants to move on.
"Although it may not seem it, they are situations that are quite common, but that's not an excuse, my reaction should not have been that," he tweeted.
"We're always going full-on, right Regui?
"Draw a line under it and on to tomorrow's game."
There were no grudges held by Reguilon who also tweeted, saying: "Always with my team and with my captain, and on to victory tomorrow!"
Madrid take on the Czech side at the Bernabeu on Tuesday night, sitting a point behind Group G leaders CSKA Moscow.
