Veteran goalkeeper Gary Rogers has penned a new deal with Dundalk that will keep him at Oriel Park for next season.
The 37-year-old Meath man joined the Lilywhites from Sligo Rovers in 2014 and has been at the heart of a golden period for the club, winning two Premier Division titles [soon to be three], the FAI Cup and an EA Sports Cup.
Rogers has been in fine form this season, keeping 28 clean sheets and helping the side to the brink of the league title and another FAI Cup final.
"I am delighted to get the deal done," he told the club's website.
"I have been here four years now and it has been great. I am delighted to be staying on again.
"All in all I am very happy. It was an easy decision to stay. The way things have been going here it has been great and you’d be hopeful that will continue.
"We are in a good place at the moment. We have a Cup final to look forward to. I’d fancy us to get a point from our last four games. It is within reach now the title."
