Republic of Ireland midfielder Eunan O'Kane is to receive surgery after suffering a double fracture in Luton Town's 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers yesterday.
Luton Town confirmed in a statement this morning that O'Kane, who is on-loan from Leeds United, suffered a fractured tibia and fibula in his left leg during the win.
O'Kane will undergo surgery today before returning to Leeds United.
The Derryman came on as a second half substitute but only played for 13 minutes before he was injured.
The Luton Town statement read: "We would like to wish Eunan a speedy recovery and thank him for his efforts during his brief spell at the club, during which he has made a big impression on everyone he has met at Kenilworth Road."
