Cork City and Dundalk remain on course to meet each other in the final of the FAI Cup for the fourth year in succession following Monday night's draw, which kept both sides apart in the semi-final draw.

Dundalk face 1984 champions UCD in the first semi-final, while Cork City await the winner's of the outstanding quarter-final between Bohemians and Derry City.

Both fixtures will take place throughout the final weekend of September, with the two games being televised live on RTÉ .

The Premier Division and First Division league leaders will meet at Oriel Park on Friday, 28 September at 7:45pm, while Cork will travel to either The Brandywell or Dalymount Park for the second semi-final, which kicks off at 5:45pm on Sunday, 30 September.

Meanwhile, the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division fixture between Sligo Rovers and Bohemians has been postponed due to IRN-BRU Cup involvement. Both teams progressed to the third round of the competition where Bohemians will welcome Sutton United and Sligo Rovers will travel to Motherwell Colts. 

The fixture was originally scheduled for Friday, 12 October but a new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
