Bournemouth have broken their transfer record to sign Colombian midfielder Jefferson Lerma from Levante.
The 23-year-old is understood to have cost the Cherries £25m and the Premier League club announced he has signed a five-year contract.
He leaves Spanish side Levanta after three years in which he scored three times in 93 appearances.
Lerma impressed at this summer's World Cup in Russia and counts nine caps for his country.
He said: "I'm so happy to be an AFC Bournemouth player. The transfer has been very long because it took a while for the clubs to reach an agreement, but the most important thing is that I am here now and everyone got what they wanted in the end."
Burnley have signed goalkeeper Joe Hart on a two-year deal from Manchester City and Czech Republic striker Matej Vydra from Derby.
The Clarets confirmed the Hart transfer on their official website, saying an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £3.5m, had been paid for the former England number one.
Manager Sean Dyche was not expecting to be in the market for a goalkeeper this summer but injuries to Nick Pope and Tom Heaton - both England internationals in their own right - forced his hand.
The 26-year-old Vydra, who top-scored in the Championship with 21 goals last season, has signed a three-year deal at Turf Moor with the option of a further 12 months.
Vydra, who joined the Rams two years ago, has previously played in the top flight with West Brom and Watford.
Everton forward Kevin Mirallas has arrived in Florence to undergo his medical and put the final touches to his loan move to Fiorentina.
The two clubs have agreed a year-long temporary deal for the Belgium international, who spent the second half of last season at former club Olympiakos after struggling for game time with the Toffees.

Brendan Rodgers has confirmed Celtic have rejected a bid from Fulham for Dedryck Boyata.
The London club have targeted the 27-year-old Belgium defender with the fee reported to be £9million.
Hoops boss Rodgers said: "Yes, we have had a few enquiries and there was a confirmed bid by Fulham for him.
"He is a player that we don't want to lose. We know he is in the last year of his deal.
"He has been a fantastic player for me in my time here, he had an excellent World Cup when he played.
"He is clearly a player of value and, at this point in time for us, he is very important and the club rejected that."
Usain Bolt's dream of becoming a professional footballer has moved a step closer after earning an "indefinite" trial at Central Coast Mariners.
The eight-time Olympic champion has expressed his desire to move into football following his retirement from athletics and will train with the A League side to try and earn a contract.
A statement from the Australian club read: "The Central Coast Mariners can today confirm that Usain Bolt has committed to an indefinite training period with the club, with the aim to develop the 'world's fastest man' into a professional footballer."
The 31-year-old has already trained with several clubs around the world, including Borussia Dortmund, Stromgodset and Mamelodi Sundowns, but his stint in Australia looks to be his best chance of winning a deal.
He said on Central Coast Mariners' official website: "I am very excited about coming to Australia and would like to thank the owner and management of the Central Coast Mariners for giving me this opportunity.
"It has been my dream to play professional football and I know that it will involve a lot of hard work and training to get to the level required to play and make an impact in the A-League.
"When I spoke to the head coach Mike Mulvey on the phone he outlined the ambitions of the club and his plans for the upcoming season.
"I hope I can make a positive contribution to the club and look forward to meeting the other players, staff and fans in the coming weeks.
"I always say that, 'Anything is possible, don't think limits', and I look forward to the challenge."
Newcastle have completed the signing of West Brom striker Salomon Rondon on a season-long loan deal, with Dwight Gayle moving in the other direction as part of the agreement.
Rondon, 28, scored seven Premier League goals last season as the Baggies dropped out of the top-flight.
He will now link up with Rafael Benitez's Newcastle, with Gayle heading to the Hawthorns on loan for the campaign in return.
Venezuela international Rondon becomes Benitez's sixth summer recruit, following on from the signings of Martin Dubravka, Kenedy, Yoshinori Muto, Fabian Schar and Ki Sung-yeung.
Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce spoke about the future of supposed-Tottenham target Jack Grealish after seeing his side beat Hull 3-1 in the Championship on Monday night.
Grealish impressed for Villa last season and could yet become Tottenham's first signing of the window before it shuts on Thursday.
The 22-year-old spent plenty of time applauding the travelling supporters as he was substituted late on at the KCOM Stadium but Bruce is keen to keep hold of the precocious midfielder.
Bruce told Sky Sports: "We will do our best to keep hold of him, but it is going to be difficult. We understand the human side. He will want to play in the Premier League, Europe, Champions League. The owner has made it clear that he wants him to stay. To be fair to Jack he has got on with it."
Villa had earlier announced the re-signing of Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe on a season-long loan, with Jose Mourinho still keen to add to his ranks at Old Trafford before the deadline.
The Red Devils continue to be linked with a move for a central defender, with Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld, Harry Maguire of Leicester and Bayern Munich's Jerome Boateng all linked with Old Trafford.
Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola is reported to be lining up a move for the United midfielder, with Barcelona and Juventus among the destinations mentioned in dispatches.
Everton are reported to have won the race to sign Brazil international and free agent Bernard (25) following interest from Inter Milan and West Ham, and it has also been suggested the Toffees have reached an agreement for Barcelona centre-back Yerry Mina.
Brighton have signed Esbjerg winger Anders Dreyer (above) for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old, a Denmark youth international, will join up with the Seagulls' under-23s squad ahead of their season opener against Liverpool on Friday.
Under-23's coach Simon Rusk told the club's official website: "We are delighted to welcome Anders to the club.
